KALE BALATA  was established in Maslak-İstanbul in 1976,producing brake linings,disc brake pads and clutch facings for the Turkish Market. As a result of the developing automotive sector in the world,Kale Balata started to improve its targets for the Original Equipment and After Market to satisfy the Original Equipment and After Market needs Kale moved to the new and bigger production plant located in Gebze with 27.000 sqm open and 12.000 sqm closed field production place. After the Licence agreement made with Textar/Germany (TMD) on 1985,Kale has started its production with the international standards of quality and has achieved to be leader of its own sector in Turkey. Today with producing high technology products Kale is eaisly competing in the World Market. The new standard of independent testing will ensure that brake pads supplied into the After Market conform to ± 15% of the Original Equipment (OE) performance.This approval system known as ECE Regulation 90, brake pads approved to the specification will be E Marked. Kale Balata has been proved to be leader of their sector,accordingly since 2002 Kale Balata is devoloping own qualities with the existing laboratories in order to be approved by the German TUV to recieve the E-Numbers.

In line with Kale Balata's vision for the future; we develop and manufacture affordable, easy-to-use, reliable and environment-friendly consumer products by implementing state-of-the art technologies. We are aware that we have to be up to date in order to have today's production and trading approach. With this way, we will be able to serve our customers with high technology and quality.

Our foremost goal is to develop and manufacture environment-friendly and reliable consumer products. With this approach, Kale Balata became a pioneering company in 1992 by producing first non-asbestos product and we still continue developing and manufacturing our products on this way.
